Paladin Pet Products Pampers Pets Online
City, State (PRWEB) April 4, 2008 -- Niaomi Hamilton recently opened www.PaladinPetProducts.com because of her love of animals and her desire to do something on the Internet. "They always tell you to do something that you know, that you're familiar and comfortable with, and the Internet offered a means of doing a business where I'm comfortable," explains Niaomi. "The fact that it's a pet web site? well, animals I know. Pets I know. I'm very comfortable with my pets; it's something I love and cherish, so it's easy. It's not work."
A true lifelong passion, Niaomi's love of her pets and of animals in general is a factor in every facet of her business. "It's like they say -- do something you're passionate about. I'm very passionate about animals, and about the relationship between animals and people," she says, detailing just part of her deeply-held philosophy about people and animals. "I want to make sure that it's a healthy relationship for both parties, and offering products that encourage that relationship feels good to me."
Niaomi takes great care in the selection of products for her store, going over them carefully before deciding whether or not to include them. "I'm choosing each and every one of these items," says Niaomi. "I choose them in terms of safety for both the animal and the people. There are certain pet products out there that I disagree with, like dog muzzles that, to me, break the animal's spirit. I'm always going to choose products that encourage a happy, friendly relationship between the person and the animal. Their relationship should be a joyful and fun one for both."
Regular updates of both the amusing and the innovative are Niaomi's stock in trade, keeping her products fresh and catering to all varieties of pet lovers. With a wide selection of pet clothes and fun toys as well as a number of practical items, like safety gates and pet beds, all avenues are covered. "I just found a dog bed for older dogs where you can fill it with hot water to keep them warm in winter, and also with cold water during summer months. That's practical," says Niaomi, who also jokes, "Sometimes people think, 'Oh boy, why would you want to dress your animal?' Well, if the pets are okay with it and the people are having fun with it, I say go for it. I want to help people understand that animals try so hard to understand us. They're not just things -- they are beings that have huge emotional feelings."
Niaomi shares both her opinions about pets and advice about her products on www.PaladinPetProducts.net, her new blog. "My blog will be to encourage people to express their own relationships with their animals; to inform other people of discoveries they've made about relationships with their animals," she says enthusiastically. "Maybe to relay some fun anecdotes, and again to express examples of how much animals try to talk to us, because they do. They try so hard to interact. I have dogs, and they try so hard to talk to me in a way that they feel I will understand. I think it takes an awful lot of intelligence to try and put things in a way that I will 'get'. They work hard at that, and I want to give them credit for this, and I think that's probably one of the strongest things that will come out of my blog. A lot of this is coming from years of study and reading, and a lot of observation -- I'm not just pulling this stuff out of my hat. There's been a lot of research behind it." The blog will also feature discussion about the various charities Paladin Pet Products will contribute to, helping animals in distress and protecting wilderness areas.

Pawprints of Katrina: Pets Saved and Lessons Learned
Pawprints of Katrina will leave pawprints on your heart.
You probably vividly remember the animal rescues you saw on television in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Veteran reporter and lifelong animal lover Cathy Scott covered the stories straight from the muck, the rubble, and a makeshift shelter. She witnessed dramatic rescues and joyful reunions firsthand. This book shares Cathy's stories and insight, poignant photographs from Clay Meyers, and follow up information about the animals today. Heartbreaking and heartwarming, it conveys the depth of tragedy; more importantly, it celebrates the indomitable spirit of the volunteers who refused to give up, the determined pets who survived, and the owners (original and adoptive) who love these...
Safeguarding Your Pets from Parasite Infections
To enjoy your pets longer, to be able to play and cuddle them, pets should be free from parasites. Of course, no pet owners would allow their children to play with pets full of ticks and fleas, and hug unsightly appearing animals. Proper safeguards on pet care starts from knowing the symptoms, treatment and prevention.
Safety Tips for Moving With Pets
Which kind is your pet? The pooch who is the first one in the car when the door opens, or the kitty who runs to hide at the first hint of travel?
Both kinds face dangers on the road, but there are steps you can take to protect them. Even the happiest traveler can get into trouble, and it can happen even on a short jaunt to the grocery store.
Pets and Destructive Chewing
The definite act of chewing varies from one dog to another. If you have a chewer it is probably for entertainment because your pet is bored. When I state "destructive chewing" I don't mean to make your best friend sound like a monster, only that the destruction will probably be your favorite pair of shoes or other valuable household items.
Picking the Right Dog Chews and Treats for Your Pets
With all of the options available for dog chews and treats both online and at your local pet store, it's hard to know which one is your best option. Which one will your dog not only enjoy, but will be healthy for them at the same time. It's not unlike picking out an afternoon snack for a small child. In light of the recent pet food recalls, many pet owners have turned to bully sticks as an all natural treat for their dogs. But not all bully sticks are created the same. Here are some things to keep in mind when picking out a bully stick for your dog. There is a Difference in QualityBully sticks are made out of beef, and like all meat from cattle, there is a difference in the quality of the beef. The better the cattle are raised, the bet...
